New Delhi: If you are using we chat, share it, TikTok, Helo app then you have to quickly uninstall it because India bans these Chinese apps.
This action is taken to counter the threat posed by these applications, to save the country’s sovereignty and security. The ban has imposed according to section 69A of the IT act.
The official said that the govt. that these apps have been there for a long time, there are risks of data going out of the country.
According to M.O.E and IT said that some complaint has been received from various sources of misusing of some mobile data through apps, several reports about the stealing or misusing of some mobile apps data.
A welcome move towards Digital Independence
In the place of these Chinese apps Indians coming up with TikTok rivals the “BOLO INDIA” app, which reduces India’s digital dependence on other’s countries.
